In Malawi, you’ll be welcomed at Chileka Airport, before a short drive to Fisherman’s Rest Lodge. Here, you’ll settle into your Malawian home, dip in the pool and soak in the views. Malawi is remarkable—alive with song, hope, and prayer. As you join projects and meet people so eager to share their stories, you’ll be moved in ways that will change your view on life forever. Each experience connects you with people, places, and purpose.

After full, busy days at Fisherman’s Rest, you’ll retreat to the majesty of Mulanje Massif. Recognised by UNESCO for its outstanding universal value, it’s a rare union of culture, tradition, and ecological splendour.
The climb is challenging, but the plateau offers peace, an otherworldly stillness and beauty where time seems to pause.
From Mulanje’s heights, you’ll descend to Majete’s wildlife reserve, a beacon of conservation. Home to lion, elephant, cheetah, wild dog, buffalo, giraffe and zebra.
We are passionate about sustainable development, but we also believe in the wonder of a safari! Guided by expert rangers and welcoming hosts, you’ll enjoy the luxury and magic of an exclusive wildlife experience.

Land in Blantyre, Malawi. We’ll collect you from Chileka Airport and welcome you to Fisherman’s Rest Lodge and Mbame Estate.
